After Akhilesh Singh Yadav led Uttar Pradesh (UP) government allows the subsidy for film shoots in the state, this time Nitish Kumar announces subsidy of Rs 3cr to encourage film shoots in Bihar.

The decision has been taken to promote the state as a potential destination for film shoots along with to encourage the local cinema as well as to give boost up to the local talent.

The Bihar’s government representative, Shiv Chandra Ram, Minister of Art and culture, Ganga Kumar, Development Commissioner of Bihar, Shishir Sinha along with others representative of state were to discuss the final details of this new initiative in Mumbai.

The Indian Film and Television Directors Association has organized this meeting in Mumbai with the delegation who comes from Bihar. The meeting was sat-up to discuss the numerous stuff and the several hurdle which will coming in the way.
